A few examples of the space options are the Ford Pavilion and Grand Patio, Flamingo Plaza and Takamenda Gorilla Deck. The Ford Pavilion and Grand Patio offers a tented location customizable to what you envision for your special day. The space spans 16,000 square feet and can accommodate a large gathering. Host a reception within the 2,000-square-foot area of the Ford Conservation Room, which is an indoor venue space. Gather near the Chilean flamingos at the Flamingo Plaza for a memorable dining or cocktail party. Another unique location is the Takamenda Gorilla Deck, also available for dining and cocktails. The Zoo Atlanta can accommodate an outdoor ceremony with a lush backdrop of trees. Several other venue spaces exist – both indoor and outdoor – to fit your wedding size and preferences. Cuisine Zoo Atlanta partners with Proof of the Pudding caterer that uses fresh ingredients in its culinary creations. Customize your menu as an important part of your wedding event. - Does your venue have on-site parking available for guests?
- Parking is available in the Cherokee Avenue parking lot, and the Grant Park Gateway parking facility on Boulevard. The each lot has a daytime charge of $12 per car. Should your event start after 5 p.m., a discounted after hours fee of $6 per car will apply. Valet parking is available to your group.
- Can I schedule a tour of the venue?
- If you want to see the space prior to sending the information needed for a proposal, your Catering Sales Manager can set up a time to meet you. We also have virtual tour options for some of our event spaces, so please request that option if it makes you more comfortable.
- Does Zoo Atlanta/Proof of the Pudding provide my wedding coordination as part of my booking?
- Zoo Atlanta requires a day-of coordinator in addition to your main point of contact at the Zoo. This assigned coordinator must be an outside vendor who is not part of the guest list/wedding party/family.
- What are some nearby hotel accommodations Zoo Atlanta would recommend?
