Wrecking Bar Brewpub

It is historically significant because of its association with Victor Hugo Kriegshaber, who was a leader in the cultural and economic development of Atlanta during the first third of the twentieth century and who was also the original owner of this house." He commissioned the building to be designed by architect Willis F. Danny just before 1900, and he and his family lived there until their deaths in the year 1924. Denny's work is exemplified by the Kriegshaber residence; he was only in Atlanta for a few years before his untimely death at the age of 31 from pneumonia, but he managed to design many of the city's most prestigious public and private structures before 1905. The house is a notable transitional statement in terms of style, combining late Victorian and eclectic elements in a cohesive whole. The Wrecking Bar Brewpub has three different event spaces, each with a different capacity and atmosphere: the Wrecking Bar Brewpub, the Wrecking Bar Brewpub, and the Wrecking Bar Brewpub. The Biergarten is an event space located in our brewery warehouse that can accommodate up to 42 people seated and up to 100 people standing. There are twelve beer taps and fermentation tanks in the room, so it is definitely a casual venue, and it has a built-in stage, which makes it ideal for celebrations that include live music. It is located within our historic house, The Marianna, and serves as a private dining room for up to 20 people. The space can accommodate up to 30 people for a seated event or 40 people for a standing, cocktail-style event. In addition to dinner parties and get-togethers, the Parlor is an excellent venue for workplace mixers, book clubs, birthday parties, and rehearsal dinners. This is our formal event space, located on the main floor of the house, and it can accommodate up to 250 people in seating capacity. Because of its high ceilings, stained glass windows, and original fireplaces, it is an excellent venue for weddings (both ceremony and reception), breakout sessions, rehearsal dinners, and holiday parties.
