VANDERBILT MUSEUM COURTYARD Located on in Centerport, New York, the Vanderbilt Museum’s Spanish Revival architecture and modern Planetarium offer a variety of unique event spaces and is a timeless location for an unforgettable Gold Coast experience. Host an event in one of Long Island’s most celebrated venues while supporting the Museum’s education programs, collections and exhibits. The Vanderbilt also welcomes proposals for film and photography shoots. With an impressive outstanding Spanish Revival ambience, and continuous open adjoining gardens and Reflecting Pool overlooking Northport Harbor, the Courtyard is fantastic for networking and social events. From cocktail receptions and seated dinners to large-scale productions, the Courtyard is grand, flexible event space. Capacity: 300 reception, 200 seated dinner CELEBRATION TENT Sitting on what was Mr. Vanderbilt’s golf course, the Celebration Tent offers magnificent views overlooking Northport Bay and the Hall of Fishes. The Celebration Tent is an ideal location for corporate receptions, weddings, and large-scale group functions. Capacity: 260 seated dinner CHARLES AND HELEN REICHERT PLANETARIUM The Reichert Planetarium is one of the finest and the most advanced in the United States, and the largest astronomical facility on Long Island. The Planetarium’s GeminiStar III system – which includes a Konica Minolta Infinium-L star projector, full-dome video and surround-sound – offers audiences a spectacular immersive experience. This modern–designed Planetarium features comfortable graduated seating under a 60-foot dome, providing a superb venue for a hosted event, custom planetarium shows narrated by one of the Museum’s astronomers, corporate presentations, performances, lectures and seminars. Availability limited to Monday through Thursday, and Sunday evenings. Planetarium Theater Capacity: 145 Lobby Capacity: Reception 130, Seated 100 THE ROSE GARDEN The Rose Garden overlooks Northport Bay and features a reflecting pool fountain, historical columns, and decorative Samuel Yellin iron gates. Capacity 100 LANCASTER ROOM The Lancaster Room is an elegant room located in the nursery wing of the Mansion and is available for smaller groups. Capacity: 36 seated.
