Vincent Chicco's private dining room may accommodate up to 100 people for a business meeting or a special occasion. This unique space boasts vaulted ceilings, exposed brick, and subtle elegance above our Italian restaurant in the center of upper King Street in downtown Charleston. History and tradition, like its namesake, influence Vincent Chicco's now-modern take on classic Italian-American dishes. Vincent Chicco's is a peaceful sanctuary tucked back on Hutson Alley, serving exquisite Italian food with fresh ingredients, handmade pastas, and house-made sauces. During the prohibition era, Vincent Chicco, an Italian immigrant to Charleston, managed a number of saloons and was a leader in the local anti-prohibition movement. Chicco's arrest was the first since Governor Tillman signed a dispensary law. Because many Charlestonians opposed the law, Chicco's arrest became well-known. Vincent Chicco's is thrilled to serve enhanced old-world authentic Italian cuisine that pays tribute to one of Charleston's forgotten heroes.
