About Tujague's Restaurant
Tujague's restaurant has been in operation long before the city of New Orleans was given its name, and it formerly functioned as a Spanish arsenal. It has weathered decades of war, depression, fire, and plague to continue a history of culinary quality that has not been lessened. Tujague's is the second-oldest restaurant in New Orleans, the origin of brunch, and the site of the country's oldest stand-up bar. But, above all, Tujague's is a local restaurant, located in America's oldest neighborhood—the French Quarter—that caters to the needs of its neighbors. Tujague's is unquestionably one of New Orleans' most famous and historic restaurants, and it is steeped in gourmet legend. Located in the heart of the French Quarter When you are one of the city's oldest and most renowned restaurants, you are bound to have held a fair number of private events throughout the years. Tujague's can provide the perfect setting for any type of event, from rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions to bachelor/bachelorette parties and corporate events. With some of the best private dining rooms New Orleans has to offer, Tujague's can create the perfect setting for a quintessential French Quarter event you will never forget. With six dining rooms, all of which are elegantly furnished in classic New Orleans and Tujague's décor dating back to our establishment in 1865, our newly refurbished three-story restaurant can host gatherings for 10 to 300 guests.
