Since January 2019, we've made celebrating in our new location at Bucksville Hall our primary focus and source of revenue. During the Small Farm Competition in 2011, our cherished farm was named South Carolina's Farm of the Year and winner of the Small Farm Competition. Don't forget to stop by our General Store, which was originally known as the Buck & Beaty Mercantile and is the oldest operating general store in Horry County. The Peanut Warehouse, located in the heart of Horry County, South Carolina, has a long and illustrious history. It was constructed in 1900 for the purpose of storing tobacco. Afterwards, it was used to store fertilizer before being converted into a peanut warehouse, thus the name. In the heart of historic Conway, just a few hundred yards from the Waccamaw River, it played an important role in the economy of the river town around the turn of the twentieth century. When you walk through the door, you are given a wonderful glimpse of days gone by.
