Apartments, fountains, terraces, retail stores, the refurbished Watergate Hotel, and the Watergate Event Center are all part of this five-building curvilinear riverfront complex that also includes the Watergate Hotel. On October 21, 2005, the National Register of Historic Places recognized the entire complex as a national historic landmark.
