While you're enjoying beer, wine, and handcrafted cocktails, The Optimist will transport you to your favorite seaside haunts with dishes such as hickory-roasted fish and raw oysters, as well as beach-food favorites like as hush puppies and lobster rolls. Our light-filled, semi-private dining space is ideal for hosting business events such as receptions, showers, and celebrations, as well as birthday parties and other social gatherings. We are able to close The Optimist to the general public for you if you are hosting a wedding or other fully private event. Our Oyster Bar Private Dining Room can accommodate up to 16 guests, who will be seated at two parallel tables in the room. The area is filled with natural light and is decorated in a seaside style. Depending on your privacy requirements, you may choose to leave the room's floor to ceiling curtains open or close them. This space is solely available for seated events. It is possible to order hors d'oeuvres, which will be given to seated guests on trays that will be placed on the table.
