Paired with our modern reception rooms, Marquee Conference Center, and rooftop, this Chicago landmark provides the perfect back- drop for your event. The Old Post Office Then The Old Post Office is composed of three buildings, the first completed in 1921, with its current form completed in 1934. Its capacity was needed to serve Chicago's great volume of postal business, inflated by the mail-order businesses of Montgomery, Ward, and Sears. ARCHITECTS: Graham, Anderson, Probst, and White The Old Post Office Now The historic art deco structure is 12 stories tall, with a total of 2,500,000 square feet of office-lead mixed-use develop- ment. The completed structure is home to more than 12 event spaces, including the Historic Lobby, which has been restored to its original state, and a 3.5-acre rooftop called the Meadow.

- Rental rates vary depending on the particular space being utilized.
- Am I able to hold a specific date?
- Yes. A courtesy hold may be placed for a specific date. In cases such as these, the client who has the hold will have the right of first refusal should another client be interested in renting the space on the same date. A signed contract and a non-refundable deposit secures the space.
- Can I use a vendor not on the preferred list?
- Yes. Our list of vendors is preferred, but not exclusive. Vendors not featured on our list will need to be approved, provide the proper insurances, and agree to our rules and regulations.
- Do I need a photography permit?
- Yes. A photography permit is required and can be obtained for a fee beginning at $150.
- Is commercial photography and filming allowed?
- Yes, however, arrangements must be made in advance.
