The Library Ballroom

In Macon, Georgia, the Library Ballroom is a historic wedding location. This downtown landmark, which was built in the late 1800s as the city's first public library, is available for weddings and other events. The Library Ballroom is suited for exquisite marriages, with a 45-foot wooden cathedral ceiling, original hardwood floors, warm mahogany and cherry wood finishes, and brilliant stained glass windows. The Library Ballroom offers a variety of indoor venues for your wedding ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner, engagement party, anniversary, and other milestones, all with plenty of character, history, and Southern charm. The Grand Ballroom is a warm and inviting facility with customizable layouts that can accommodate up to 175 seated guests and 225 cocktail-style standing attendees. You'll also have access to the Ladies Reading Room, which has cherry wood furnishings, a 50-inch plasma television, and a full sound system. The Luxury Bridal Suite, the downstairs lobby, and the prep kitchen are among the other areas. The building is also handicap accessible and has an elevator for your guests' convenience on your wedding day. ALL RENTALS INCLUDE: Use of Grand Ballroom for your Reception, Ladies Reading Room, Prep Kitchen, and Downstairs Foyer. Assorted tables and 175 mahogany resin chairs, integrated sound system, projector, plasma TV, wireless microphone, fire marshal, Library Ballroom staff member, and limited off-street parking. Option to add the Bridal Suite depending on venue availability. (Bridal Suite is included with Saturday and Full Weekend Rentals). The Bridal Suite It's designed as a luxury loft apartment, and it's the ideal place for the bride and groom to begin their honeymoon after a long day of wedding celebrations! The 850 square foot suite is located on the third story of Macon's first public library and features a full kitchen, living and dining area, 50" plasma with digital television, king-sized memory-foam bed, private bath with Jacuzzi tub, and breathtaking views of Mulberry Street in Downtown Macon!
