We purchased our magnificent 10-acre property in Scurry, Texas, in 2014 with the help of my husband Glen. It was a dream come true for us to be able to retire from the Big City, and we were thrilled with our new country living lifestyle. With years of experience in small business management as well as community service, we are well-suited to this position. After much deliberation, we have decided to pursue our dream of hosting weddings and events in our own home and backyard. We officially opened the doors to our lovely property, which is now known as The Hay Bale Wedding & Events Venue, in the summer of 2016. We are a small family-owned firm that enjoys making a difference in the lives of all of our customers. Your event will be held in our venue, which is decorated in the down-home country chic style you are looking for. The Castle in the Country $3,500 Up to 175 people can be accommodated for Saturday events. The Rustic Chandelier is $2,500 and is available Sunday through Thursday. It can accommodate up to 100 people. The Stagecoach is offering a $1,000 prize every Sunday through Thursday. It can accommodate up to 60 people. Beautifully appointed Bridal Suite with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the grounds and pool area. A private dressing area, vanity stations, and an en suite bathroom round off this luxurious space. With an en-suite bathroom, a full kitchen, a flat screen TV, and a quiet front porch / back porch view of the property, the Groom Suite is ideal for a wedding party. Caterers, vendors, and BYOB are all available for you to choose from. On the dance floor The Dance Floor is where all of the action takes place! Wood floors, exposed rustic beams, endless rows of twinkle lights, and an elegant chandelier are some of the features of this room. The Hay Bale Wedding & Events Venue is known for its logo-inspired altar, which is a mainstay of the venue. The arches of the structure are draped in flowing white voile, and the sparkling crystal chandelier adds a touch of glamour to the outdoor setting. The Hay Bale Venue is the perfect place to exchange vows!
