On 40 acres of land, this exquisite venue has a classic white chapel and a large reception area for a quiet, romantic setting. As you walk down the aisle, you'll be surrounded by a panoramic panorama of apparently endless green pastures. This event area is named after the proprietors' favorite flower, the flower of heaven, according to legend. Hunter and Christine Scheffler were inspired to develop the property when looking for a wedding destination for their own wedding. They desired a location that was close to the city yet far enough away to have a pastoral feel. With The Gardenia, which is only a 20-minute drive from Denton, Hunter and Christine combined the best of both worlds. It is conveniently accessible, yet it also provides enough room in the gorgeous countryside to make you feel at ease. The Gardenia Wedding & Event Venue has a courtyard, reception hall, and chapel that can accommodate 50 to 300 people. Couples have 5,300 square feet of floor space in the reception hall, which is flanked by 20-foot gallery windows for natural light and views. For outdoor ceremonies and cocktail celebrations, their outdoor bar area, covered porch, and arch rentals provide a nice, pet-friendly choice. Separate lounge areas, private restrooms, private balconies, and large TVs are available for prenuptial leisure in the wedding party suites on site. Air conditioning and heaters are provided in both the indoor and outdoor spaces to keep you and your visitors comfortable in any season. The venue's calm pond and enormous front-facing fountain can provide the perfect setting for your photographers to work with for everlasting photographs. From wedding preparation through reception, the team's one-event-per-day policy assures that you and your guests will have the venue to yourselves. Setup and takedown will be handled by the crew, who will also provide crossback chairs, round tables, and farm tables for usage indoors or out.
