The Garden Weddings & Events

The Garden is a lovely setting for weddings and small gatherings. The Garden Weddings & Events is an outdoor venue located in one of Escondido's most historic homes. Built in 1910, the house was famed for its gardens and social gatherings. We provide a boutique experience in a pleasant and private setting where tales are born and lasting memories are formed. A huge lawn area is bordered by roses and other floral plants, and the garden is shaded by gorgeous evergreen trees. The gardens and gazebo are illuminated by strands of market lights and old street lights, providing an outstanding evening ambience. The property and our service are very important to our team. We're on the northeast corner of Fourth Avenue and Kalmia Street in Old Escondido's Historic District. Sallie and A.W. Wohlford commissioned the craftsman home in 1910. Kristie Rocco now owns the property, which she has transformed into The Garden, a delightful and small garden place. The Garden, which is shaded by gorgeous evergreen trees, provides a lovely, secluded environment for your special occasion. The grounds are illuminated by strands of market lights, which form a canopy and set the tone for an exciting evening. The brick pathway leads to the charming gazebo in the back of the yard, which provides a relaxing view point. The covered building is the perfect spot for you and your guests to enjoy some quiet time. The crescent-shaped raised terrace is set back from the main home and in the middle of the garden. It can be utilized as a focal point or a stage for big events.
