When the sun goes down, The Dubliner comes to life with Irish entertainers who take the stage every night. We provide the very best in Irish entertainment seven nights a week, with everything from soulful ballads and airs to rousing jigs and reels to choose from. As we've grown, we've established the Phoenix Park Hotel as "America's Center of Irish Hospitality," which was recently renovated. As a Capitol Hill institution, we welcome guests who understand that, in the words of Daniel O'Connell, the great Irish statesman, "the hospitality of an Irishman... springs, like all of his qualities, his faults, and his virtues, directly from the heart." In addition to fundraising events, The Dubliner has experience hosting rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, retirement parties, birthday parties, and a wide variety of other private parties. It doesn't matter whether you're planning a formal dinner, a cocktail reception, or a small gathering at one of our bars; The Dubliner is the ideal location for your next special occasion. Are you looking for that authentic Irish pub experience? The Main Bar Room at the Dubliner is the perfect place to start. The Main Bar Room, which features over 50 different types of Irish whiskey, Guinness and craft brews on tap, as well as live music every night, is the ideal location for your happy hour, holiday party, or late-night gathering. The President's Bar has truly earned its moniker after serving President Barack Obama his first pint of Guinness on St. Patrick's Day 2012, among other occasions. This space is ideal for smaller receptions of 25 people, but it can also be combined with The Snug or the Parlor to accommodate events of up to 150 people. The Snug provides the most privacy, making it an excellent choice for private lunches, business meetings, rehearsal dinners, or even larger cocktail receptions and receptions. Mosaic tile flooring, a service bar, and a television with presentation capabilities are all included in this newly renovated area. Renovations completed in September 2019 include the construction of a new terrace with a door. This all-seasons patio space is equipped with bi-fold windows that provide an a la fresca experience in the summer months while remaining fully insulated during the cooler months. Providing cold beer and wine, the service station can be transformed into a satellite bar for cocktail receptions and other events.
