The Contemporary Jewish Museum's (The CJM) dynamic facility, designed by renowned architect Daniel Libeskind, offers beautiful spaces for special events, including wedding receptions, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, celebrations, corporate cocktail parties and dinners, lectures, film screenings, and performances. An Artistic Setting for Your Event The CJM’s iconic building offers a variety of unique event spaces and is an elegant location for an unforgettable San Francisco experience. Corporate membership is included for qualifying rental clients and supports The Museum’s year-round exhibitions and educational programs. SPACES AVAILABLE FOR RENTAL Koret Taube Grand Lobby, including the Wise Sons café area Stephen and Maribelle Leavitt Yud Gallery Richard and Rhoda Goldman Hall Sala Webb Education Center Classrooms (the two classrooms can be rented separately) Ronald and Anita Wornick Board Room Blue Cube Blue Cube Available all day, every day Maximum Occupancy: 65 floor seating, 80 reception Our newest venue option is a 2,000 sq ft. mixed use space on the ground floor within the stunning confines of an architectural marvel, Libeskind's Blue Cube. Ideal for lounging, mixers, luncheons or elegant cocktail receptions with exclusive, accessible exterior access off Yerba Buena Lane, steps away from Market Street, Moscone Convention Center, YBCA, MoMA or over a dozen restaurants and nearby shops. It can be reserved during Museum hours, or combined with Lobby or full buyout packages. Koret Taube Grand Lobby Available nightly beginning at 6pm; except Thursdays; available all day on Wednesdays Maximum Occupancy: 300 seated dinner; 350 standing reception The 5,200-square-foot Koret Taube Grand Lobby is the perfect setting for an elegant cocktail reception, or a corporate breakfast or lunch. Guests will encounter the look and feel of an early twentieth-century industrial building with brick walls and towering skylights combined with Libeskind's bold, contemporary extension. Stephen & Maribelle Leavitt Yud Gallery Available nightly beginning at 6pm; except Thursdays; available all day on Wednesdays Maximum Occupancy: 168 reception; 100 seated The 2,500-square-foot Yud Gallery has a dramatic, jewel-shaped 60-foot ceiling and 36 skylights, which cast distinct patterns of light creating a truly unique ambiance. Primarily used for sound installations and performances, this space is a beautiful setting for cocktail receptions, seated dinners, performances, and product launches. Richard & Rhoda Goldman Hall Available all day, every day Maximum Occupancy: 233, reception; 180, banquet, 233 theater seating, 200 floor seating The 3,500-square-foot Richard and Rhoda Goldman Hall is the most versatile space in The Museum. The room can be used as a theater, via a retractable seating system, or an open, unstructured space, ideal for filming, lectures, and performances. It is also well-suited for corporate meetings, award ceremonies, conferences, seated dinner events, or cocktail receptions. Sala Webb Education Center Available all day, every day Maximum Occupancy: 130 floor seating, 150 reception The 2,700 square-foot Education Center includes two classrooms, the Ronald and Anita Wornick Boardroom, and an open lobby area. These spaces can be used for artistic or educational events, receptions, conferences, or private meetings. CATERING AND POLICIES Renters must choose from The Contemporary Jewish Museum’s list of approved caterers. This list is comprised of caterers who are familiar with the facilities and the required policies and procedures, respect The Museum's mission, and have excellent reputations. Use of caterers not on the Approved Caterers list will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and is subject to a vendor training fee of $1,500.

- Does the venue have an approved or preferred vendor list?
- Renters must choose from The Contemporary Jewish Museum’s list of approved caterers.
- Does the venue have a curfew for events?
- The event must conclude and all guests must leave The Museum by 12am. Vendors will have an additional two hours after your guests leave for load out. You may extend your event past the contract time for an additional per hour fee. The latest end time extension is 1am.
