The Burr Homestead

If you are planning a summer garden wedding, an intimate celebration, or a corporate retreat, the historically known Burr Mansion, nestled in the center of Fairfield Connecticut's historic area, will be a hit with your attendees. In Fairfield County, this is one of the few places with an outside tent that can hold more than 200 people. It makes a lovely backdrop for a birthday party, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, school gala, or fundraising event of any kind. The Burr is the ideal setting for any celebration, no matter how large or small. The Burr Homestead has a wide range of alternatives for any type of celebration, including: Beautiful gardens and reflecting lakes spread across more than four acres are ideal for ceremonies and photographs. There is an option to hire only the mansion or the mansion/tent combination (depending on seasonality and number of guests) From May through December, the 60′ by 60′ tent can accommodate more than 200 visitors. The fully equipped catering kitchen is brand new (as of 2019). It will be a hit with your caterer! Restrooms for men and women have been renovated. The fully-furnished bridal suite on the second floor is the ideal spot to prepare for the big day.
