Born in the U.S. and raised in South Korea, he studied in Switzerland and gained experience at leading hotels and restaurants worldwide. Alexander leverages his background to craft unforgettable gatherings, ensuring every detail reflects culinary and service excellence.
Robert Sisca

Robert is the Culinary Director & Partner of The Himmel Hospitality Group. Chef Sisca lets carefully conceived dishes speak for themselves, as the freshest locally sourced ingredients take center stage. Chef Sisca artfully combines finesse and approachability to satisfy various appetites on any given occasion. In particular, his raw bar, crudo, seafood and steak selections surprise and delight the senses.
Edson Rojas
Executive Chef
Chef Edson, raised in Peru and Spain, blends multicultural influences with a deep respect for culinary tradition. Though he began his career in law, he switched to cooking, working in top Boston kitchens like Farmstead Table, Benedetto, and Gustazo Cuban Kitchen & Grill. At The Banks, Edson plays a key role in strengthening partnerships with local vendors and enhancing the use of diverse, locally-sourced seafood.
Ben Chesna
Wine and Beverage Director
Ben brings bicoastal experience as Beverage and Wine Manager. Initially drawn to Aspen for snowboarding, he fell in love with hospitality, leading beverage programs at Casa Tua Aspen and Bosq. He later helped Spago in Los Angeles win a Wine Spectator Grand Award. Now returning to his home state, Ben holds an Advanced Certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers and is a Master’s candidate. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking and supporting the Patriots.
Tab Volpe
Executive Pastry Chef
Tab Volpe first ignited his passion for the culinary arts at Johnson & Wales University and honed his talent with experience at many of Boston’s culinary institutions like The Langham Hotel in Boston, The Mandarin Oriental Hotel, and No. 9 Park. Before joining Himmel Hospitality Group, he oversaw all baking, dessert, and pastry programming for Chef Barbara Lynch’s restaurants. Tab, a connoisseur of classic French desserts, delivers bold flavor, unique components, and artistic presentation.

How much does it cost to rent the venue?
The cost of renting our venue depends on the specific space and date you wish to book. We offer semi-private, private, and full buy-out packages. Pricing varies based on these choices and other details, so please contact us to discuss your event and receive a personalized quote!
What is included in the venue rental cost?
Our venue rental includes the use of our in-house linens, plateware, flatware, and glassware, as well as a designated event manager to assist with planning your event. There are no additional rental fees required; we only require food and beverage minimum spends.
What is the venue refund or cancellation policy?
Should the event be cancelled by you, The Banks Seafood and Steak will release your reservation, and all income from your deposits and payments shall be considered earned. The Banks Seafood and Steak reserves the right to collect any remaining payments due.
