The Ancient Spanish Monastery's Gardens and Chapel provide a classic setting for your most important ceremonies. The Ancient Spanish Monastery's staff of event professionals will assist you in creating your own one-of-a-kind memorable event with beauty, warmth, and grace. Chapel Weddings: With three magnificent chapels to select from, your wedding may be customized to fit your budget, wedding party size, and guest count. A one-hour ceremony and half-hour for photos are included in all costs. - The Main Chapel is perfect for weddings with up to 150 guests. The rental fee includes the organist and pipe organ. - The Chapter House is a smaller Chapel which seats up to 80 guests. The rental fee includes the organist and portable keyboard. - ​The French Altar is an intimate Chapel for up to 10 guests. Garden Weddings: The formal gardens of the Ancient Spanish Monastery are unlike any other in South Florida, with almost 20 acres of unique palms, Spanish oaks, cycads, banyans, blooming plants, and more. The beautiful grounds, set against the backdrop of a 12th century Romanesque and Gothic edifice, will provide for a memorable occasion. The Loggia, Prayer Well, Banyan Tree, Saviour Garden, and St. John Garden are the five outdoor areas available for weddings. Up to 300 people can be accommodated in the Gardens. Receptions can be hosted in the Cloisters (covered corridors that enclose an open courtyard), the Loggia, or the Gardens of the Ancient Spanish Monastery.
