The Anchor Room

The Anchor Room is a prominent event venue with stunning waterfront views, a diverse food, and elegant décor. With two cocktail balconies overlooking the Wando River, the second floor room can accommodate up to 160 guests. Guests can also hold their ceremony outside, in the adjacent waterfront gazebo. The Anchor Room's Australian Cypress floors and cypress trim match the seaside location. The area includes full audio/visual capabilities for displaying visitors' images or films, as well as a variety of music genres available on demand. From a wide-ranging event menu, the Anchor Room chef and his staff can suit your culinary needs. Weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, anniversary parties, graduations, club meetings, holiday parties, and any other event requiring spectacular views, a fantastic venue, and great food and beverages should consider the Anchor Room. The Anchor Room offers amazing views of the Wando River from its lovely second-floor waterfront setting. The Anchor Room has a Cypress floor and two outside cocktail balconies, totaling 3,000 square feet. This unique event area includes several video displays and audio-visual equipment, as well as fully changeable lighting to suit any mood. We're one of the few reception sites in the Charleston area where the bridal party and guests can come and depart by boat. Cocktail tables, dining tables, and banquet seating are included in our room rental rate. We also have a waterfront gazebo for outdoor ceremonies and a dressing suite for the wedding party!
