Since The Allan House began serving as a venue for events in 2000, thousands of weddings, corporate gatherings, and other events have taken place there. The house is at its most beautiful when people are gathered to support a worthy cause or celebrate with loved ones. For weddings and other special events of all types, The Allan House, a lovely location in the heart of Downtown Austin, is the perfect choice. The Victorian home, which has been expertly restored, has heart pine wood floors from the original construction, gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows, crystal chandeliers, modern furniture, and circular southern verandas. The mountain laurels, native flora, and heritage oaks that flank the expansive stone courtyard provide an intimate urban retreat. Glistening lights that come on when the sun sets increase the outdoor space's appeal. The use of a specially constructed clear, heated tent is included in the venue rental fee for the months of December, January, and February. The tent, which entirely encloses the outside event space, offers comforts for climate control during the harsh winter months while preserving the look and feel of an outdoor event. The Winter Tent kit includes exquisite white drapes, crystal lighting, and a full heating system. - WHAT IS REQUIRED TO RESERVE A DATE?
- We require a signed contract, as well as 50% of your date’s rental fee. The second half of your rental fee will be due 90 days prior to your event date, along with a $1,000 refundable security deposit.
- CAN I BRING IN MY OWN ALCOHOL?
- Yes! Most of our clients choose to purchase and bring in their own alcohol. You are allowed to do so, as long as a bartender who is both TABC licensed and carries a minimum $1 million insurance policy serves all alcohol to your guests.
- DO YOU WORK WITH LGBTQ+ COUPLES?
- YES! We love all kinds of love, and everyone is welcome at our venue.
