Thalatta Estate is a lovely two-story vintage estate developed and erected by the Connett family in the early nineteenth century. It is one of the few residences to have graced the beaches of Biscayne Bay since the early nineteenth century, and it is a National Historic Landmark. Its unimpeded views of Biscayne National Park, a home for herons, pelicans, marine iguanas and other plant and wildlife native to the protected mangroves of the South Miami-Dade coastline, are the highlight of this vast property of more than four acres.
