Terrain at Styers

Deeply rooted in nature and plant life, terrain is inspired by the idea of merging house and garden to create an experience for all the senses, to shape a life lived outside and in. Our gatherings reflect the cycle of the seasons and the bounty of the land, capturing the beauty of all things grown. At each of our locations, a picturesque, horticultural setting is paired with menus inspired by local growers and the seasonal harvest to provide a one-of-a-kind events experience to our clients that creates memories for a lifetime. The Flagship terrain location, Terrain at Styer's, is located on the historic site of J. Franklin Styer's nursery, a Philadelphia landmark for over 100 years. With over five acres of ever-changing blooms and greenery combined with a variety of historic spaces, the property serves as a stunning setting for celebrations of all kinds for up to 110 people. We can host multiple wedding formats - elopements from 2-15 guests, micro weddings for 15-30 guests and full weddings from 50-110 guests - and we pride ourselves at our all-inclusive approach to event planning. We include both outdoor and indoor ceremony space plus farm tables, cross back chairs with cushions, burlap table runners, votive candles, customized menu cards, place settings, glassware, personalized welcome signage, fire-pit and so much more. In addition to our bespoke event spaces, Terrain at Styer’s boasts a terrain retail store and Terrain Cafe. Terrain at Styer’s is a BYO facility that invites guests to bring their favorite beer, wine, and liquors for their celebration if they so choose. All barware, glassware, bartenders, and most mixers and garnishes are provided. Terrain at Styer's is located just 40 minutes outside of Philadelphia at 914 Baltimore Pike Glen Mills, PA 19342.
