Springfield Manor Winery, Distillery and Brewery

When organizing a wedding, corporate event, weekend retreat, or a peaceful afternoon, Springfield Manor is the right venue. We have a variety of packages available. A trained staff ensures a seamless event while providing an exquisite setting for your big day. Large dance floors, head tables, and bars can accommodate up to 300 guests in the magnificent ballroom and the romantically exquisite barn. Both venues are air-conditioned. The terraces and lawns provide for a seamless transition between the indoors and the outdoors. At the foot of Catoctin Mountain and conveniently located along Rt 15, Springfield Manor is an unmistakably prominent historic mansion that should not be missed. The Manor, which was built in 1774, can accommodate huge formal events as well as small intimate parties, and it also has eight luxurious apartments for overnight guests. The rebuilt bank barn serves as the tasting room for the Winery, Distillery, and Brewery, as well as a gathering spot for special events. Springfield Manor is a 130-acre estate that lies atop its own limestone aquifer, which generates the trademark Limestone Spring Water after which the estate was called. Grapes, lavender, corn, and hay are among the crops now being produced. Springfield is home to a thriving apiary with 35 hives in operation. On the farm, you can see a diverse range of wildlife including hawks and falcons, white-tailed deer (including mule deer), groundhogs, turkey, and even a black bear. Acres of mature trees dot the landscape, along with one-of-a-kind specimens such as the Buckeye and Linden trees, which were imported from Germany centuries ago. Every now and again, one or more of our fainting goats will pay a visit to one of our winery guests.
