Short Stories Hotel

Located in West Hollywood, Short Stories is a new 66-room boutique hotel from LA entrepreneur Leo Grifka of Grifka Group. The new experiential & design-driven property provides an elevated hospitality experience, while honoring the culture and history of the area, and features modern guest rooms, a full-service destination restaurant, bar, and outdoor ‘secret garden’ courtyard sanctuary with an F&B program concepted by a highly acclaimed chef. Designed by Grifka in collaboration with Kevin Klein Design, the hotel is designed in a “cultured California-contemporary” aesthetic with classic European design touches, featuring terrazzo contrasted with stained woods & brass, along with lush vegetation from landscape architect Rolling Greens, creating a harmonious sequence across all spaces. Serving as a central gathering place for guests and locals alike, Short Stories Restaurant - the hotel’s collection of F&B spaces - which includes the restaurant and Stories Bar, the hotel’s courtyard lounge, private dining spaces, and an outdoor pool area, features a food & beverage program with menus that celebrate the melting pot that is Los Angeles cuisine, highlighted through seasonal California-sourced ingredients.
