The multipurpose 2421 sq ft. space features grid designed glass sliding doors upon entry, three substantial skylights, an array of tropical plants, the Sankofa Suite, along with white walls perfect for any creative events planner. It also has a full prep kitchen with an Avant Heat Proofer Oven and Avant Industrial Fridge. Sankofa Haus also has cocktail tables, dining tables, and clear ghost chairs available for any event. We are centrally located 5 minutes from the RFK Bridge, 10 minutes from the George Washington Bridge, and 20 minutes from the Throgs Neck Bridge, this allows convenient travel times from all boroughs as well as New Jersey and Connecticut. About: Sankofa Haus (@SankofaHaus) was founded by Bronx Native DJ Spynfo (@Djspynfo) also known as Mr. Matrimony (@MrMatrimony). Spynfo is an established DJ & Events Coordinator with over 20 years in the entertainment industry. The Sankofa Haus concept was created to provide a unique space for upscale Micro/Small events and burgeoning entrepreneurs in the Tri-State. Sankofa is an African Proverb originating in Ghana meaning “ Go Back and Get It”. “In order for society to move forward, we must collectively retrieve knowledge from the past to create better opportunities for the future.” Experience & Curation: Inspired by the rich culture and traditions of the African continent, Sankofa Haus intends to be a modern event space that engages your visual and auditory senses through music, books, art and greenery. We offer multiple tiers in our packaging highlighting a variety of wedding planners, day of coordinators, maitre d's and a collection of the tri-states most experienced wedding professionals which includes DJs, Hosts, Officiants, Florists, Caterers, Photographers and Videographers.
