Originally built in 1936, the landmark location is wrapped in window exposures, that boast sweeping panoramic views of the Chicago skyline. Welcome to what it feels like to float level to the city skyline. The versatile experience gallery is perfect for intimate style cocktail parties, dinner parties, & rehearsal dinners. Curated collaborations for immersive, experiential, corporate or artistic use, are other ways for clients to utilize and appreciate the art driven space, and team. The stunningly preserved historic atmosphere, very uniquely holds a one-of-a-kind theatrical lighting grid designed by Schuler Shook Theatre Planners. It transcends & transforms. What is included in the venue rental cost?: We offer a la carte pricing so normal bookings include use of the venue, one custom lighting look from our lighting grid, a manager on site, and cleaning. Additional options include use of our catering kitchen, use of our green room, alterations to the floor plan, and use of additional furniture
Does the venue have an approved or preferred vendor list?: We have currently allow for any vendors that are licensed and insured but an provide a list of preferred vendors for catering, liquor, furniture, and talent.
What art pieces can I expect to be on display during my event?: [salonlb.] is a functioning art gallery and features rotating exhibitions, programming, and pop-up events. The exhibitions change a few times throughout the year, so if your event is booked far in advance, the decor may change by the event date. We will explain any expected changes at walkthrough.
How much does it cost to rent the venue?: Rental rates are determined by season, day, length of rental, use of venue features, capacity, and other factors. Please contact us for a custom quote.
