Royal Sands offers an energetic and fun event experience unlike any other in Washington DC. Located steps away from Nationals Park in the vibrant Navy Yard neighborhood, the sprawling two-level space has capacity for 900+ people, while also offering smaller rooms and spaces to welcome groups of all sizes. Features include multiple garage doors and windows, numerous large TVs, three bar areas and two areas filled with games and fun activities. Every event is unique and our team works with every guest to customize a menu. We host events ranging from massive corporate events to casual evenings out on the town with friends. Our platter menu offers delicious and shareable items and we always include gluten-free and vegan items as needed. Our drink packages are also customizable with options of drink tickets, open bars, hosted consumption tab or individual tabs. Our Palm Bar features the most VIP experience in Navy Yard, with its own bar, bathroom, space for 150+ guests, AV capabilities, projector TVs alongside high end wood finishes and eye catching greenery. Another popular events space is the Cabana Lounge, which has space for up to 50 guests with televisions, glass windows overlooking the main area and its own sliding door windows overlooking Nationals Stadium. Groups looking for lively semi-private spaces can saddle up the 75' foot long Pool Bar or 85' foot long Sunset Bar. For those looking for a premium nightlife experience, you've arrived at the right destination. As the dusk draws down, we come alive. Our Pool Bar features a 30 feet high lifeguard stand where local and visiting DJs spin the best in music. Bottle service is available in several areas and our private areas transition to VIP areas where our valued regulars and friends unwind and let loose.
