For the school and surrounding community, Robert Carr Chapel provides a welcome, accessible, and sacred location for worship, ceremonies, concerts, and important meetings. For nearly 60 years, Robert Carr Chapel, which was dedicated in 1954, has held events on the TCU campus. It has served as a landmark for generations of Horned Frogs and the community of Fort Worth. The chapel accepts a range of programs and visitors, from campus worship services to weddings. The chapel was renovated in 2016 and now has greater accessibility, use, and a TCU-friendly purple aisle. The chapel's architecture incorporates many design elements from American Colonial churches, such as the prominent stone columns, spire, brass chandeliers, Palladian windows, and classically built chancel, which have remained unchanged since the refurbishment. Robert Carr Chapel hosts over 100 weddings and 400 events each year, attracting an average of 15,000 visitors. The Robert Carr Chapel, which just celebrated its 63rd anniversary, organizes approximately 400 events every year for an average of 30,000 visitors. Robert Carr Chapel, which was recently refurbished, strikes a balance between classic and modern beauty. With our stunning stone columns, spectacular spire, brass chandeliers, Palladian windows, and elegant chancel, any wedding design will be unforgettable. Our staff knows what it takes to provide you a spectacular and unique wedding as professionals in designing brilliant weddings for decades. We can accommodate up to 300 guests as they watch you commit the rest of your life to the one you love. For your rehearsal and ceremony, we provide holding rooms for the wedding party as well as an on-site planner.
