A Venue Steeped in History Originally constructed in 1905 using Stone Mountain granite, Park Tavern began as horse stables for local racing enthusiasts. Over the years, this historic building has evolved into the Men’s Club and golf clubhouse in 1928 and later into the charming restaurant and special events facility you see today. In 1999, Paul and Angela Smith purchased the venue, giving it a new life as Park Tavern. By 2001, it became a sought-after wedding and event destination, with the addition of the stunning Piedmont Room, offering panoramic views of Piedmont Park. Discover the charm and versatility of Park Tavern's four distinct event spaces, each offering a unique ambiance for your next celebration: Piedmont Room: With floor-to-ceiling windows stretching 20 feet high, the Piedmont Room provides breathtaking views of Piedmont Park and the Midtown skyline. This grand space can seat up to 200 guests for a formal lunch or dinner and up to 230 for a cocktail-style event. Atlanta’s skyline creates a striking impression, perfect for any occasion. Piedmont Garden Tent (Seasonal): Nestled in a lush garden setting, the fully covered and climate-controlled Garden Tent can host parties of 50 to 400+ guests. White silk-draped ceilings, sparkling chandeliers, and café lighting set an elegant tone. At the same time, the adjacent private Meadow offers extra space for cocktails, seating, or even outdoor games, blending the beauty of nature with city sophistication. Olmsted Room: Cozy yet refined, the Olmsted Room exudes a lounge-like atmosphere with its two grand fireplaces and rich mahogany bar. Leather couches and cocktail tables make this space ideal for intimate cocktail parties, hosting up to 120 guests in a warm, inviting setting perfect for mingling. Enclosed Patio (Seasonal): Located near the Rink and boasting incredible Midtown skyline views, the Enclosed Patio is perfect for up to 200 guests. Fully heated with cedar ceilings, Edison bulb lighting, and two indoor fire pits, this space creates a casual yet enchanting winter wonderland ambiance, ideal for festive celebrations.
