One Eight Distilling

In addition to the District Made line of spirits made from grains to glass, One Eight Distilling also produces the Untitled Experimental series of spirits. Based in the Ivy City neighborhood of Washington, DC, the company operates a distillery, a cocktail bar, and an event space for private parties. One Eight's mission is to create the finest spirits in the nation's capital while maintaining a small footprint. Every Saturday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. in The Still Yard, One Eight Distilling will once again offer outdoor and indoor bar service. Guests can sip on District Made cocktails made with spirits produced on-site and using locally sourced ingredients, or they can sample spirits from the District Made Spirits and Untitled Whiskey flights. SPACE FOR EVENTS Consider holding your next gathering in one of the distillery's beautiful event spaces. From intimate cocktail and tasting events for small groups of up to 10 people in our Spirit Safe to large-scale events for up to 150 guests, we will ensure that you and your guests have an unforgettable experience. TOUR GUIDES AND TASTING APPLICATIONS ONLINE Private virtual tours and tastings provide a one-of-a-kind experience for groups ranging from 8 to 50 people. The journey, which takes place via Google Meet with a One Eight Distiller, can take anywhere between 60 and 90 minutes. It will be an interactive session where the maker will cover everything from the origins of our ingredients to the distillation process and barrel selection, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and taste along the way.
