OLYMPIA NONELLA TRESCH WAS FIFTY YEARS OLD WHEN SHE AND HER FAMILY TRAVELLED TO THIS VALLEY IN A HORSE DRAWN SPRINGBOARD WAGON WITH TWO HOLSTEIN DAIRY COWS TIED BEHIND IT IN 1905. COWS ARE STILL MILKED TWICE A DAY OVER 100 YEARS LATER, AND THE FARM HAS EXPANDED TO INCLUDE ORGANIC APPLE ORCHARDS ON OVER 2,000 ACRES OF LAND. JOE TRESCH, OLYMPIA'S GRANDSON, OWNS AND MANAGES THE FARM WITH HIS WIFE, KATHY, WHO ALSO TENDS THE ORCHARDS. JOEY, LINDSAY, AND LYDIA, THEIR THREE CHILDREN, ALL WORK ON THE FARM.
