Established in 1856, Old Ebbitt Grill is Washington’s oldest saloon, just steps from The White House and museums downtown. It was a favorite of Presidents Grant, Cleveland, Harding, and Theodore Roosevelt and is still a popular meeting spot for political insiders, journalists, celebrities and theater-goers. From intimate groups of 20 guests to dinners for 300 and cocktail receptions for 700, we offer a variety of private dining options for your next business or social event.

- Is there a venue coordinator available to help with event logistics?
- Yes we have an Events Team who will assist with selections for a successful event. Our Executive Chef and Event Team are here to help you create the experience you are envisioning.
- How much does it cost to rent the venue?
- F&B minimums and Rental Pricing varies based on the space reserved, please see our Event kit. Menu pricing starts at $28 per person 2 course lunch entrees, $50 per person 3 course dinner entrees, and full wedding packages starting at $165 per person (excluding taxes, gratuity and fees).
- What is the venue refund or cancellation policy?
- A 50% non refundable/ non transferrable deposit of the Food and Beverage minimum is required at the time of booking. events cancelled within 14 days of the Event date are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
- What is the venue capacity?
- Our smallest space is our fully private Cabinet Room can host 40 guests for a meal or 60 guests for a cocktail reception The Atrium can host 250 guests for a meal or 600 guests for a cocktail reception.
- Does the venue offer on-site catering options?
- All Food and beverage is provided in house from our kitchen. Our Commitment to Better began decades ago when we chose to bypass traditional commercial produce routes in favor of locally grown fruits and vegetables. Clyde’s Restaurant Group was farm-to-table before it was a term.
