Visitors and locals alike congregate in the valley of the moon, at the foot of the Topatopa Mountains, which serves as a meeting point for both. The Ojai Rancho Inn has the feel of a summer camp for grown-ups. Combined with the spiritual vortex of Ojai, the 50's ranch style architecture makes for a fun destination in the valley of the moon. Keeping in mind Ojai's rich history as a spiritual and artistic community, as well as its current appeal as such, we sought to bring these aspects together through the use of lighting, artwork, music, and the overall feel of the space. We believe that the artists who bring life to the Rancho are just as important to its character as the energy that our guests bring to the property on a daily basis. In the event that you are arriving from Highway 33, we are located at the entrance to Ojai. Enjoy a quick 5 minute bike ride into town or a 15-minute walk along the walking path that runs directly behind our building to get into town. Go for a walk around the neighborhood, or sit by the pool and read a book. You can also go on a hike or get cozy by the fire pit. Whatever it is that you want to accomplish, it will almost certainly be simple. With only 17 guest rooms, it is a small and intimate property where our guests are welcomed as members of our extended family.
