For decades, the historic Eastern Market's North Hall has been a sought-after location for hosting special events of all kinds. The North Hall was renovated in 2009 as part of the District of Columbia Government's $22 million restoration of Eastern Market, which was completed in 2009. North Hall: 4,000 square feet of indoor event space with vaulted ceilings and dramatic arched windows in a historical setting a beautiful hardwood dance floor that can be moved In addition to ceremonies and cocktail receptions, the North Hall Plaza offers 3,500 square feet of outdoor space adjacent to the North Hall for a variety of uses. A catering plaza is 800 square feet of outdoor space used by caterers as an extension of the small catering kitchen bays. Catering kitchen bays are 200 square feet of covered outdoor space configured with electrical outlets, which can be used for a variety of purposes including receptions, lounges, and more! Year-round availability – daytime and evening hours are both available.
