Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's now-famous Japanese cuisine first appeared in New York City in 1994 as a result of a request from legendary actor Robert De Niro. Nobu Matsuhisa's now-famous cuisine has since expanded to include 32 restaurants around the world, including locations in Malibu, Lanai, Hong Kong, Monte Carlo, and Dubai, with additional locations planned in Houston, Newport Beach, Washington DC, and other cities.
