Situated by the sea in the famed Coney Island, Brooklyn, our spacious grounds can accommodate any type of event, and upwards of 2,000 guests. Greet our sea lions, sip cocktails with sharks, or have a picnic with amazing ocean views! With a wide variety of indoor and outdoor locations, our event staff can help customize your ideal setting for any celebration. With so many great locations for entertaining your guests, utilizing the entire park also makes for a great location for those larger gatherings. Because of the impact that single-use plastic has on our oceans, The WCS’s New York Aquarium is working to green our operations and has committed to eliminating single-use plastic in our park and promoting more environmentally-responsible alternatives. We realize that this is sometimes a complicated task, but we ask that all those who have events here make every effort they can to avoid bringing plastic products into the park including disposable plastic utensils, plates, cups, and bags. KEEPING OUR OCEAN SAFE, ONE EVENT AT A TIME! Daytime Events: The New York Aquarium makes for a great location for all types of daytime events. Glover’s Reef Deck is the perfect daytime event space, sitting atop a 167,000-gallon fish tank, with views of both the beach and our Sea Cliffs exhibit! Evening Events: Have you ever wanted to be in an aquarium all by yourself? Now you have the opportunity to make our underwater oasis your exclusive event space! With multiple after-hours options available, you can utilize parts of the aquarium, or take over the entire park for your big event. Whether sipping cocktails on our deck or rooftop, guests will enjoy stunning beachfront views. Guests will also be able to explore all our park has to offer, in a completely exclusive environment!
