What is the venue capacity?

The venue has multiple spaces with varying capacities. We can host a maximum of 1,200 guests for a seated dinner and up to 12,000 for a full buyout reception.

Does the venue have any décor restrictions?

No balloons, confetti, pyrotechnics, fog, smoke or bubble machines. All vendors must be approved in advance, and have a current Certificate of Insurance. Please inquire about our list of Preferred Vendors.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Yes - all level of the Museum are ADA-compliant.

Does the venue have on-site A/V equipment?

MSI has a limited inventory of basic staging and A/V equipment. More elaborate requests are provided by one of our preferred vendors.

Does your venue have on-site parking available for guests?

We have an underground, attached garage. Daytime event parking is $22 per vehicle. Evening events feature complimentary parking.

Does the venue have an approved or preferred vendor list?

Yes, please request with your inquiry.

Is there a venue coordinator available to help with event logistics?

Yes - you will have a dedicated Special Events team member to work with you throughout the planning process, as well as on-site management of the event.

Does the venue offer on-site catering options?

MSI's exclusive, on-site catering team is Sodexo. No outside food or beverage is permitted, with the exception of wedding cakes.

Does the venue have a curfew for events?

Events must end by 1:00 am. Note that events past 11pm do incur additional rental fees.
