The museum space, designed by Josef Paul Kleihues, is both an innovative and accommodating environment for your event. Our west-facing, four-story windows create both a luminous interior space and panoramic view of Chicago’s skyline. The spacious Kovler Atrium is great for large celebrations, while our galleries allow for unique and intimate experiences where guests can socialize amongst some of the world’s most celebrated contemporary art.

- Is there parking for my guests?
- Yes. The MCA has a convenient public parking garage located at Chicago and Fairbanks. All guests and vendors are offered our $20 flat-rate parking discount during your special event. Guests can pick up a parking validation during the event at coat check.
- Do you have any exclusive vendors?
- Yes. MCA Catering is our exclusive in-house catering partner. All food and beverage (including alcohol) for your event must be purchased through MCA Catering. MCA AV handles all of your tech needs as well. Please contact us for more details.
- What MCA staff will be onsite on my event day?
- Managers from the MCA rentals team and the MCA Catering team will be on site from start to finish on your event day—from setup until every vendor leaves the building. The MCA also provides security, housekeeping, and a building engineer on site during your event.
- Are the art galleries open during my event?
- Depending on the space you're renting, access to the 2nd floor galleries is included in the rental fee, but open no later than 11 pm. Galleries on the upper floors can be available for an additional fee.
- Do you have tables and chairs included in the rental fee?
- The MCA is pleased to offer complimentary use of our tables, chairs, and lounge furniture on site. We have 66-inch round tables, high boys, and café tables. Ceremony and dinner chairs are not included in the rental fee. Please inquire for additional information.

Events Experience ManagerHannah Parker is the Events Experience Manager at the Museum of Contemporary Art. As a member of the events team, she works alongside a variety of clients, overseeing the whole process from planning to execution. She has experience managing corporate events, weddings, theater rentals, and more, and she would love to bring your vision to life!
