Mitchell's Mountain Meadow

The National Forest entirely encircles the 80 acres of our property. Our three sizable meadows offer expansive views of the mountains nearby, and the property has lovely streams meandering through them. We are situated in the Sierra Nevada Mountains' Tahoe National Forest. Independence Lake is only two miles away, Truckee/Donner Lake is 30 minutes away, and Lake Tahoe is 45 minutes away. We have a late-June to mid-September season. Our three-day wedding package gives you plenty of time to plan and set the stage for one of the most significant days of your lives. Our fee covers three days of use of our 80-acre property. This means that you have the entire day on Friday and the early hours of Saturday to prepare for your very own special and customized wedding. The major event will then be ready on Saturday afternoon and evening. Sunday is your entire day to unwind and take out any personal belongings. The cabin is the ideal location for the bridal party to get ready for your extraordinarily special day. There are numerous ceremony locations available (on a meadow, a lawn with a beautiful view, or next to a mountain stream surrounded by aspen trees).
