Roberto Pugliese, Giovanni Marzocca, and José Marquez, whose culinary career had taken them all over the world, founded Mezzaluna Italian Restaurant over 25 years ago. They felt an instant connection to the Half Moon Bay coast because of the neighboring farmland and fishing boats parked at the nearby harbor.
