It was only the beginning for the Messina family when they opened Andy Messina's Restaurant and Catering Company in Kenner, Louisiana. Messina's Inc. was founded in 1991 by Andy's son, George, who became the company's sole owner. Our Group of Experts We are happy to be a family-owned business with outstanding team members on our team. George Messina is in charge of the entire organization. Stacey, his wife, works as the Director of Sales and Marketing for the company. Andrew is the Director of Operations, which is his father's job. George and Stacey are hands-on business owners that personally attend each and every event. Messina's employs approximately 130 part-time employees and 20 full-time employees on a year-round basis. In high season, Messina's might have as many as 200 team members working for them at once. Messina's staff is made up of of family members and long-term employees that are dedicated to the company. It is no coincidence that the majority of our core team has been with us for more than fifteen years. Recruiting, training, motivating, and retaining high-quality team members is something we take great delight in doing. This is crucial since we only deploy temporary staff to service huge events on a very infrequent basis, if at all. We have a dedicated team of employees that have received extensive training in providing satisfying visitor experiences.
