Merchants Cigar Bar

Merchants Cigar Bar, which opened in 1996, is a modern lounge with a midcentury design that takes visitors back in time. True to the era of the opulent Havana High Life, indoor smoking is permitted, fresh ingredients are used in cocktails, and music is played until the wee hours of the morning. The architecture and furnishings in merchants are appealing and genuine; every component is a fresh take on traditional design. Visitors descend a beautiful mahogany paneled staircase that is accented with brass, illuminated by diffused light, and features floor to ceiling bronze mirrors. Upon entering the lounge, visitors are greeted to the right by an opulent handcrafted brass bar, while couples and bigger groups are welcomed to the left by quaint tables and custom leather booths. Handmade Calico Wallpaper and lighting pieces from Triple Seven and Soho House are used to decorate the room. Merchants Cigar Bar provides visitors with an atmosphere that is powered by mystery with touches of luxury in every aspect thanks to its creative branding and artwork by renowned Berlin-based agency Maison C.C. and illustrator Benedikt Rugar.
