Mawita - Latin Inspired Cuisine & Bar

Mawita is a warm colorful oasis in the mountainside community. The space transports you to your favorite South American escape. The restaurant has three unique dining sections. one featuring a double-sided fireplace, another with sweeping views of the mountains, and a third underneath our hanging garden. Mawita is the newest addition to Chef Mawa McQueen's - a James Beard semifinalist nominee in 2022 and the 2020 & 2022 Colorado Governors Minority business winner of the year - collection of restaurants. Mawita is located on the top floor of The Collective building in Snowmass Base Village, next to the ice skating rink. We strive to bring every customer a high level of service in a fun and inviting atmosphere. Mawita is the ideal place for corporate or private events in Snowmass Village. We can accommodate from the most intimate of gatherings in one of our private rooms, and up to 150 guests seated or 250 standing for a cocktail party setting. The restaurant is divided into three spacious dining rooms, accented with warm lighting, comfortable booths, colorful Latin modern art, and floor-to-ceiling windows. In addition, we have large patio ready to seat up to 100 guests, with scenic views of the the mountain. In addition, we offer off-premise catering services for private parties, as well as charitable and group events.
