Maison De Tours, located across the street from St. Martin de Tours Church, is Acadiana's one-of-a-kind historic destination wedding venue that has been meticulously restored to its original 1855 beauty. exposed beams, long leaf pine floors, plaster and brick walls with cypress insets and wrought iron balconies are just some of the features of this home. A side alley leads through a stunning wrought iron trellis, and a lushly planted brick walkway opens onto a beautiful private courtyard where we have our outdoor weddings and other events. Take pleasure in the sound of our cascading waterfall. When the courtyard and balconies are lit by copper gas lights, a warm atmosphere of southern hospitality is created, complete with a French touch! Located right across the street from St. Martin De Tours Church, which is the third-oldest Catholic church in Louisiana, we are an attractive historic wedding destination venue. The venue is conveniently located near Lafayette, Broussard, Youngsville, New Iberia, and Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. We are available to host outdoor weddings, wedding receptions, showers, birthday celebrations, Christmas parties, anniversary celebrations, rehearsal suppers, bridal dressing, corporate events, teas, and garden parties in a setting reminiscent of the French Quarter in New Orleans. We rent Maison De Tours for $2,000 a week for a reception that lasts four hours on Friday and Saturday. The furniture included in this lease includes all of the indoor tables as well as the tables, chairs, table runners, lanterns, and chair bows. We also provide foliage and candles for all of the fireplaces, skirting and toppers for the cake and gift tables, cake stands, cake knives, toasting glasses, a champagne bucket, and a cake cutter. In addition, our team will provide cut cake to your visitors. On all of our outside tables, we give tablecloths, ash trays, and birdcage lanterns as decorations. The water feature in our food courtyard is a potted fountain, and the water feature in our wedding courtyard is a gorgeous huge fountain with special-effect lighting. Throughout the building and its courtyards, background music can be heard playing. We can cut off the music in any location where your DJ is performing. Meanwhile, you and your bridesmaids get to dress, do their hair, and do their makeup on the wedding day, while we call your vendors and set everything up for you the day before the wedding. In the case of an on-site wedding, we provide a wedding coordinator, podium, up to 200 seats, pew bows, music, a rehearsal, and an additional half-hour of planning time. An on-site wedding will incur an additional fee of $800.00. Please contact us for further information. Within 15 minutes of the conclusion of your wedding, the huge courtyard is transformed into an eating and dancing area. Our wedding coordinator will be on hand to assist you throughout the entire wedding and reception processions and ceremonies. We will provide waitstaff to assist your guests and bus the tables as necessary. Showers, parties, and rehearsal suppers are all available at a different price.
