Luminarias, located on the hilltop of Monterey Park, has been serving authentic Mexican cuisine to local families for more than 40 years. Luminarias is a spectacular sight to behold, both during the day when it is surrounded by breathtaking views of the San Gabriel Valley and at night when it is illuminated by dazzling lanterns. An impressive entryway greets visitors as they enter the Spanish-style hacienda, which is adorned with vibrant Latin décor, lush tropical greenery, arched doorways, cobblestone paths, a waterfall, pond, old world fireplace, and an impressive waterfall. THE LIGHT AT THE TOP OF THE HILL At Luminarias, which translates as "Light on the Hill" in Spanish, you'll feel like you're right in the heart of beautiful and bustling Mexico City, complete with all of the familiar sights, sounds, tastes, and smells.
