About Linden Row Inn

Linden Row Inn is a 70-room boutique historic hotel in the heart of Downtown Richmond. The hotel is comprised of seven row homes built in the mid-1800’s, and meticulously restored over the years. Linden Row was lovingly restored in 1988 as a full-service Inn by Historic Richmond Foundation. Most of the rooms are furnished with antiques from the middle and late 1800’s, and the hotel is proud to be featured on the National Register of Historic Places. The property features an intimate Garden Courtyard that is perfect for rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies, and receptions. Adjacent to the Garden Courtyard and accessible by set of French doors, our Board Room is perfect for smaller, intimate affairs.   1. Am I required to work with in-house catering partner, Groovin’ Gourmets?
  2. Yes. Our in-house catering department through Groovin’ Gourmet handles all event food & beverage needs including alcoholic beverages & staffing. You are welcome to utilize an outside company for desserts.. Please email Michelle Moock at mmoock@groovingourmets.com for more information.
  3. Can we bring in our own alcohol? Can we serve our own alcohol?
  4. All food and beverage, including alcoholic beverage needs, would be coordinated through our in-house catering department, Groovin’ Gourmets. Please inquire directly to discuss all beverage related questions.
  5. What timeframe is included in my event space rental?
  6. We allow the caterers to arrive 3 hours prior to event start time to set-up, 2 hours prior to event start time for client decoration, 4 hours for the event itself, and 1 hour following for break down. Additional event time can be added on at $250 + tax/hour and all events must conclude by 10pm.
