About Lacuna Events by LM

Ideally situated in Chicagoʼs Pilsen neighborhood, Lacuna Events by LM offers a truly unique setting for your next event. Built in 1897 as what once was the worldʼs largest macaroni factory, the 5 story, 250,000 sq. ft. space maintains much of the original charm as the building has been carefully restored using a variety of the original materials. Lacuna Events by LM is also home to many talented Chicago artists and their one of a kind creations can be found throughout building and used as decor for private events. In the Summer months, the rooftop provides stunning views of the cityʼs skyline and is perfect for an outdoor ceremony or cocktail reception. Every event at Lacuna is catered by our in-house caterer, LM Catering & Events, who expertly handles all food and beverage needs as well as acting as the on-site event management team. The culinary team of experts at LM will work with you to build your menu using only the freshest and most seasonal ingredients.

Does the venue offer on-site catering options?
We do! LM Catering & Events is our exclusive caterer. They offer a variety of menu packages perfect for any event.
Is the venue handicap accessible?
Yes. Each of our event spaces is accessible by elevator and we have handicap accessible restrooms.
Does the venue have an approved or preferred vendor list?

Is there a venue coordinator available to help with event logistics?
Yes. Each event will work with a dedicated member of our sales team who will be your point person both for the venue and catering.
What is the venue capacity?
The Reverie Gallery can accommodate 350 seated and 600 for a cocktail reception; La Galleria can accommodate 150 seated with a dance floor and 200 seated and 300 for a cocktail reception and The Skydeck can accommodate up to 150 seated, 250 for a cocktail reception and 250 for a ceremony.
