The La Cañada Thursday Club, a beautiful, historic gem of a property, is located in the heart of La Cañada Flintridge. Built in 1926, the facility has been the setting for many wedding celebrations and other special events. The clubhouse has many amenities, including a ballroom with an elevated stage, tea room, bridal suite, and kitchen. The outdoor courtyard is a private walled area that has arched wrought iron gates, a large fountain, a majestic oak tree, and a mature garden. The venue accommodates up to 130 guests and has a private, spacious parking lot. Facilities and Capacity The secluded courtyard is a perfect location for your ceremony—a floral pergola arches over the gate and provides a colorful background for the moment you both say ‘I do’. Rows of seats can be set out for your guests to watch. Here, a Spanish-tiled water fountain, paving, flower beds, and shade-providing trees all combine to create a beautiful walled-garden effect. The courtyard can also be arranged to host your reception. In setting out round tables, chairs, centerpieces, cutlery, and plates, it becomes a beautiful place to experience al fresco dining. It also provides a marvelous backdrop for a stunning photoshoot. The clubhouse offers an impeccably designed interior space with a ballroom, buffet space, and kitchen. With exposed ceiling beams, round tables, candelabra chandeliers, and amber uplighting all around, the ballroom embodies romance. For the couple’s first dance, space can easily be cleared in the ballroom or everyone can make their way outdoors as the newlyweds sway under the stars above them. Services Offered Conveniently, La Cañada Thursday Club's staff are willing to welcome outside vendors on site so that you can add your own character to the scene. The venue handles all your rental needs—tables, chairs, linens, and much more. They are also more than happy to offer vendor referrals for caterers and other preferred vendors. Although couples and their guests can provide their own alcohol, staff can be made available to serve drinks. Other Services The wedding party can have access to the venue for 10 hours. This includes a podium, piano, furniture, lighting for the courtyard, and a bridal suite.
