King Manor Museum

Our stunning formal dining and entertainment room, which was built by the King Family in 1810, is part of the final enlargement that was added to the home to create the structure that is now known as King Manor. There are genuine Federal Period design components in the space, which were meant to produce a warm, bright environment in an era before electric lights, as well as great natural acoustics for music performance. Meetings, tiny wedding ceremonies, book readings, recitals, and other small private events are all possible in this space. However, while food and liquids are not permitted in our period rooms, we do have a large foyer where light snacks and drinks can be offered, as well as access to the backyard if needed. A more informal private space, our North Kitchen is ideal for off-site meetings, classroom sessions, a bridal party dressing room or storage space while your event is taking place. Within a New York City park, King Manor offers a huge backyard space that can accommodate renting tents up to 30 by 40 feet in size, making it ideal for larger occasions. Our venue is private and secure, making it an ideal setting for events such as weddings, board retreats, cocktail hours, and other gatherings. King Manor is ideally located near all main means of New York City public transportation, including the Long Island Railroad, three NYC Subway lines, and a plethora of bus routes, among others. We are also close to both JFK International Airport and LaGuardia Airport, making our historic mansion a convenient meeting location for everyone on your guest list during their visit.
