Since 1935, Joe T. Garcia's Mexican Restaurant has been a Fort Worth institution. Mr. and Mrs. Joe T. Garcia founded the restaurant, and it has remained in the Garcia family ever since. Throughout the restaurant and on our famed patio, there are signs of a long family heritage. Joe T. Garcia's had become one of the most popular restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth area by the 1970s. The restaurant began to expand not only in popularity but also in size as a result of their loyal consumers. The first addition was a modest patio with a pool and cabana. Every year since then, a new patio, party space, or eating area has been built. The seating capacity has grown from sixteen in the beginning to well over 1000 presently. Even as the restaurant grows, the same style of cooking and original recipes are used, and the younger generation exhibits the same passion and enthusiasm for the business that their parents and grandparents instilled in them. There are many lovely reasons to have a party or event at Joe T. Garcias. We can accommodate groups of 25 or more with our lush gardens and amazing indoor areas. The restaurant can be as intimate or open as needed, adapting to each occasion, thanks to the range of rooms offered. Rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, birthday parties, graduation parties, corporate celebrations, and benefits have all been held at our venue. Outside, breathtaking views of lush gardens and fountains abound, while internal spaces like La Puertita exude genuine rustic charm. We can also accommodate you at your preferred location.
